Faith Statement
We believe that there is one God and He is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Philippians 2:5-7; John 10:30; John 14:26;)
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy; and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
We believe Jesus Christ is God, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His death that paid for our sin through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension/rising up to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory. (John 1:1; Matthew 1:18,25; Hebrews 4:15; Hebrews 9:15-22; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; Acts 1:9-11; Hebrews 9:27-28)
We believe that accepting Jesus Christ and being transformed into His image through the Holy Spirit are the only paths to salvation for lost and sinful men and women. (John 3:16; John 5:24; Titus 3:3-7)
Water Baptism
Matthew 28:19 ● Romans 6:4
We believe in baptism by immersion after conversion. We believe in water baptism, as taught and demonstrated by Jesus, as the way for believers to identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. We believe water baptism symbolizes and identifies believers with Christ’s death, burial and resurrection, bearing public testimony of their belief in Him.
Baptism of Holy Spirit
Matthew 3:11 ● Acts 2:4
We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift from God. He helps empower the believer to develop the character of Christ and live every day in God’s will.
Spiritual Gifts
1 Corinthians 12:4-11 ● 1 Peter 4:10
God gives all believers spiritual gifts. They are for the strengthening of God’s people (the Church) and proof of God’s existence and power to unbelievers. The gifts of the Spirit are active and relevant today.
Healing & Restoration
Luke 9:11 ● Matthew 9:35 ● Acts 10:38 ● Matthew 10:1
We believe that divine healing is active in the lives of people today through Jesus, who is the Healer. Healing includes physical, mental, emotional and spiritual restoration.
